Scarves

Joke sent by a fellow knitter:

A Highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting! Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window and turned on his bullhorn and yelled, "Pull over!"

"No!" the blonde yelled back - "It's a scarf!"

Two of my first scarves from back in 2006: a simple garter stitch scarf out of Red Heart Foxy eyelash yarn for my sister, and a second scarf in miniature for Loretta the crocheted turtle (the turtle was made by my grandmother and given to one of my adoptive mothers)
